Aviation Director Jim Szczesniak is officially leading Houston Airports into its next chapter of flight. New this month | The award-winning Houston Airports arts program is expanding with more live musical performances and commissioned visual arts pieces. "Airports are the new museum," explains Alton DuLaney, Curator of Public Art for Houston Airports. 

The airport system is celebrating a banner year as it prepares to set another travel record in December. Passengers are encouraged to plan and prepare for more people inside bustling terminals. 

As the construction of the new international terminal progresses at Bush Airport, an overnight traffic alert may impact those flying EVA Airlines and Viva Aerobus. 

And, the portfolio of amenities is diversifying with the launch of a Houston Public Library kiosk inside Hobby Airport and a Sensory Room now open at Bush Airport.

New this month | The Director of Aviation for Houston Airports invites Houston's business community to endeavor to new heights as aviation and aerospace merge during the 2023 State of the Airports address. 

New flights are giving passengers more opportunities to visit Mexico and Houston Airports celebrates the work done to make Bush and Hobby airports more inclusive and accessible.

This month proved to be one for the record books! Houston Airports set a new record for air travel, hosted its first-ever wedding inside Hobby Airport and became the first-ever recipient of the World's Best Art in the Airport award.

Our team celebrated a major milestone in the construction of a new international terminal - and the public can now take in the details of a new state-of-the-art feature wall coming soon to the new Terminal D-West Pier at Bush Airport.

Houston City Council confirmed an entirely new dining experience for North America's only 5-Star airport and Houston Airports is expanding its global reach with the addition of new airlines. 

Houston Airports is also maintaining its 4-Star Skytrax rating at Bush Airport and 5-Star Skytrax rating at Hobby Airport!

Houston Airports partners with Turkish Airlines to send supplies to Turkey after a pair of deadly earthquakes. More are joining Houston Airports in the fight against human trafficking, and this month we are sharing major progress on the new international terminal at IAH as 200 tons of steel beams are installed and 12 artists are commissioned to create art for the new space.
