Turnkey Solution
The Houston Aerospace Support Center (HASC) offers 53,000 square feet of fully customizable laboratory and office space in any configuration you require.
Inside the HASC
Take a 360-degree virtual walkthrough. If you’re on a mobile device, move your device to view the facility. If you’re on a desktop, click and drag the cursor to explore.
Clean Rooms
Manufacturing and research can be demanding enough without the threat of outside contamination. That’s why the HASC has two lab-certified clean rooms to help you perform crucial tasks in the controlled environments you require. Because these are the same clean rooms used to support International Space Station missions, you know they’ve got an aerospace pedigree you can trust.
Clean Room 1: 1,170 square feet
Clean Room 2: 4,030 square feet
Let Us Do the Heavy Lifting
Two separate heavy-lift crane configurations in the HASC allow for processing massive cargo just steps from Runway 4/22. A pair of 5-ton hook bridge cranes (10 tons total lift capacity) meet the lifting demands and space requirements for virtually any spaceflight-related task. An additional 3-ton single-hook crane facilitates additional lift work on the shop floor.
- 3-Ton and 10-ton capacity cranes
- Hook crane height: 23’5”
- Roll-up door height: 25’1”
- Top-running crane mount
- Underhung monorail hoist and trolley
Flexible High Bay Layout
The 36,000 square foot high bay offers access to all laboratories as well as fabrication/machine shops and clean rooms to ensure seamless workflow for the lifecycle of any project.
Configurable Office Space
The HASC contains 17,000 square feet of fully configurable office space with adjoining laboratories and workspaces. The HASC is located on Space Center Boulevard and is immediately adjacent to NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Lab.
Two State-of-the-Art (CAT I ILS) Runways
Tenants of the Houston Spaceport have two world-class runways at their disposal. Because NASA, all five branches of the military and general aviation use the Spaceport, you can be sure it can support virtually any horizontal take-off aircraft or spacecraft.
