HOUSTON - George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) today announced plans to increase its covered parking inventory at its ecopark economy parking lot located at John F. Kennedy Boulevard near Greens Road. Construction is now underway to convert 724 uncovered spaces to covered parking by the end of July.
“Although we have covered parking and plenty of other parking options at Bush Intercontinental, our on-site covered parking at only $8 a day is in high demand, and we are anxious to make this available to more of our customers,” said Liliana Rambo, Houston Airport System Parking Director. “We are working hard to get this project completed quickly with little impact to our customer’s travel experience.”
The ecopark lot at Bush Intercontinental offers access to more than 8,500 parking spaces and is the most cost efficient on-airport parking option, offering quick access to the terminal buildings via its free 24/7 shuttle service.
After construction is complete, the ecopark lot will offer more than 1,650 covered spaces for customers who prefer to park their vehicle in a shaded area.
