Parking Options Give Travelers Plenty of Convenient and Affordable Choices at Houston’s airports
July 13, 2018

The traditional summer travel season — typically from June 1 through Aug. 31 — will see more than 15 million passengers pass through Houston’s airports, but plenty of affordable parking options will make flying out of town easy and affordable.

With more than 27,000 spaces at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and more than 7,200 spaces at William P. Hobby Airport, there are a number of convenient and affordable parking options to choose from.

Terminal parking
At Bush Airport, there are terminal garages available at all five terminals, with self-parking as well as valet parking. Self-parking begins at $22 per day, with hourly rates available for short-term parking, beginning at $5 for the first hour. Two garages are available at Hobby Airport, both equipped with automated parking locator systems. Self-parking begins at $22 per day, with hourly rates available for short-term parking, beginning at $5 for the first hour.

Valet parking
Both Bush and Hobby offer valet parking services for an affordable $26 per day. Basic valet service is convenient and includes a free USA Today newspaper and a bottle of water, covered parking spaces and an online reservation system. Sure park
The members only program at Bush Airport ensures you will always have a parking space when you come to the airport. It ensures private entry, a guaranteed parking space that is covered and close to the terminal. The program’s designated parking area is located at Terminal C Level 3, C-East Garage, and the cost has hourly options topping out at $24 per day. To learn more, check this link.

Ecopark lots
The official on-airport value lots at Bush and Hobby airports offer affordable, covered parking spaces, as well as 24/7 shuttle service to and from the terminals. Now with two ecopark lots, ecopark 1 and ecopark 2 at Bush Airport has nearly 11,000 parking spots available, with about 4,000 of those being covered spaces. At ecopark 1, located off JFK Boulevard's feeder road, can also accommodate oversized vehicles such as campers, large trucks, etc. At the ecopark2 location, located at 5021 Will Clayton Boulevard, there are 2,300 covered parking spaces, as well as a limited number of spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles and 30 ADA parking spaces. At Hobby Airport there are more than 1,100 ecopark spaces conveniently located near the terminal.

The easiest way to decide which option to use is the Houston Airport System’s award-winning website, fly2houston.com. There you can find information on how much space is still available in the terminal parking garages and the ecopark lots, as well as the other options available.
