It’s not a mailbox, it’s not a birdhouse, it’s a…. Little Library! And they are sprouting up in neighborhoods near you. Not to be left out, William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) has recently opened a Little Library free for its passengers.
“Little Libraries are becoming increasingly popular, and we thought why not offer one at the airport for passengers to entertain themselves before a flight or simply lighten their load,” said Hobby Airport General Manager Lilliana Rambo. “It is also a great way to promote literacy and book selections will often include adult, teen and children's books, and even books in different languages.”
The Little Library is located on level 2 near Gate 44 and works like this: No fees, no due dates, no limits. No fees, no due dates, no limits. Passengers can even keep the book and donate a book their next trip. The Little Library at HOU is available for passengers of all ages.
