The Houston Airport System is holding a free family-friendly festival and Bar-B-Que cook-off on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the North Trail Head Entry at FM 1960 and Farrell Rd.
The complimentary event will feature free food, live entertainment, kid activities like bounce houses,a balloon artist and face painting. Trail rides will be made available as the Houston Airports Rangers celebrate their 15th Anniversary lending to security to the airport's perimeter.
In addition, the Bar-B-Que cook-off features teams representing airport stakeholders including the Houston Airport System, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Houston Police Department, Houston Fire Department, SSP America, Crane Worldwide Logistics and HMS Host.
The festival is free and so is the parking, so don’t miss this family friendly event.
