COVID-19 has impacted air travel to a point that has never been witnessed in our lifetime. Although we are experiencing an unprecedented time in history, Houston’s airports are still open and operational.
Houston is under a “Stay Home, Work Safe” order. However, airport employees are essential to the city of Houston and the surrounding region. They maintain the city functioning and serving the needs of its residents. They are required to be at work during these difficult times, because their jobs are of critical importance. Their hard work does not go unnoticed. The city and the people of Houston, including Houston Airports (HAS) management, thank them for their dedication, resolve and commitment to their professions.
The hard work of Houston Airports employees also earned four-star ratings for both George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports. HAS also took top honors in the world’s best airport website and digital services category — for a second year in a row.
