Houston Airports Expands Social Media Program to Better Connect with Customers

In these unprecedented times, it is important to not only communicate but engage passengers, tenants, employees, community groups and media outlets with social media content that’s useful, meaningful or simply entertaining. Most importantly, social media creates an opportunity for important two-way communication.

Houston Airports has expanded its social media reach and streamlined profile names to better connect with passengers before, during or after their travel experience. This effort will help Houston Airports engage with passengers in real-time and garner feedback that will help improve the passenger experience.

Leading the efforts on social media is Emmy award-winning TV and multi-media journalist Jose Santos. Santos joined Houston Airports in June. Previously, Santos worked for Telemundo Houston and covered City Hall and other various general assignment stories. Through social media, he aims to realize the airports' mission to connect the people, businesses, cultures and economies of the world to Houston.
