Houston Airports Celebrates Customer Service Week
October 19, 2020

Customer Service Week is celebrated nationally, and this year was held Oct. 5 to 9. Providing 5-star customer service is a priority at Houston Airports. To celebrate the important occasion, the customer service teams at both William P. Hobby, HOU, and George Bush Intercontinental, IAH, airports decided to celebrate Customer Service Week by holding appreciation events in the terminals.

“Without customers, the passengers, our industry simply would not exist,” said Chief Terminal Management Officer Liliana Rambo. “Houston Airports strives to understand their wants and needs to deliver a personalized experience that provides them the best in comfort, care and safety. Making our customers feel special never gets old for us. It’s an investment we are privileged to make, time and time again. This week allows us to let them know how special they are to us, each and every time they come to and through Houston Airports.”

The customer service teams at both airports passed through the terminals with a cart decorated with balloons and full of goodies. Passengers were excited and surprised by the tokens of appreciation.

“We were able to ‘wow’ the customers and let them know they are appreciated,” Customer Service Manager at IAH Ella Ghica said.

“This was a great way to celebrate customer service week, because as a customer service professional, I always like to put a smile on the customer’s face,” Hobby Airport Customer Service Manager Trai Hicks said.
