HOUSTON - Houston Airports is prioritizing passenger needs by transforming the culinary experience at William P. Hobby Airport. After an overnight renovation, eight new concepts were unveiled today. Seven restaurants will open today. The eighth concept will open the week of May 15.
The eight new restaurants are temporary and allow the 5-Star Skytrax airport to continue offering fresh and delicious food, with minimal interruption to airport guests, as the concessions program continues its planned and phased transition.
The eight new temporary dining options are in addition to five existing food and beverage options. In total, these 13 concepts will meet the needs of passengers during the phased transition, which will be completed by late 2024.
Earlier this year, Houston City Council approved two separate 10-year concessions contracts at Hobby Airport.

A total of 20 permanent dining and retail concepts will be open by late 2024. Houston Airports is working with its concessions operators to renovate and open the new permanent dining and retail concepts in a phased approach so passengers always have food and retail options.
The new selection of distinct and fun culinary options will celebrate Houston's mouth-watering and signature flavors. The eclectic mix of local favorites and trusted national brands will strengthen a sense of place within the airport.
