Univision-branded stores feature various products, including snacks and beverages that represent Latin America, as well as all the basic travel essentials.
Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America and Paradies Lagardère, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America, today hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of a Univision-branded store located in Terminal B at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This is the first Univision-branded store opened in Texas and third in the nation.
Univision-branded stores feature various products, including snacks and beverages that represent Latin America, as well as all the basic travel essentials. Each location features Univision programming in Spanish throughout the day on large television screens, including Noticiero Univision, the most trusted newscast on Spanish-language television in the United States.
"The Univision-branded store adds to the international experience for our passengers," said Randy Goodman, Director of Concessions for the Houston Airport System. "Passengers will be able to find premium retail offerings in an environment that complements Houston's diverse culture."
Both Bush Intercontinental and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports are in the middle of a major concessions expansion that will bring a variety of new restaurants and retail shops to meet the needs and wants of travelers.
Each of the three airport locations will run Univision programming in Spanish throughout the day on large screens, including the Noticiero Univision newscast.
The program is expected to be fully unveiled by the end of the year.
