New Air Service Options from Houston
March 5, 2018

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

United Airlines plans to start nonstop flights between Houston and Dayton, OH, and Akron/Canton, OH, beginning this June. These are new markets for Houston and not served by any other air carrier.

The new flight will allow Dayton and Akron/Canton-area travelers to book a direct route to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), which has connections to destinations in the central and western United States, as well as Latin American cities such as Cancun, Los Cabos, Leon, Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City.

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)

Southwest Airlines will add nonstop flight service to three new destinations from Hobby Airport. Southwest is starting new nonstop service to Milwaukee, WI this month and San Jose, CA, in April 2018. In addition, the airline will bring nonstop international service to Grand Cayman Islands. The international flight will operate weekly on Saturdays.
