Thousands of passengers come to Houston’s airports every day, and that means a steady flow of vehicle traffic around George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports.
Whether dropping off passengers, picking up passengers or looking for a convenient and affordable place to park during your trip, there are facilities available to make that process quick and efficient.
Because the drop off and pick up ramps at both airports are active loading zones — meaning parking in those locations is prohibited — using cell phone lots are a great way to avoid driving laps around the roadways at the airports or parking in prohibited areas.
There are two cell phone lots at Bush Airport — one just off northbound John F. Kennedy Boulevard and one off westbound Will Clayton Boulevard — and at Hobby Airport a cell phone lot is available on westbound Airport Boulevard, just before the entrance to the airport.
The lots are open every day, and there is no charge to park at the cell phone lots for short term waits. Signage marks all three locations, and drivers can wait there until their arriving party has retrieved their checked bags and is ready to be picked up curbside.
Using the cell phone lots can alleviate both congestion on the pickup and dropoff locations and provide a quick, stress-free trip to the airport.

Also, short-term parking at terminals is available. Drivers can park at the terminal garages at both airports at an affordable $5 for one hour if they prefer to drop off or pick up passengers inside the terminal building.
