Spirit Airlines Travel Alert
Effective May 2, 2026, Spirit Airlines ordered a wind-down of its operations. All Spirit flights have been canceled, and customer service is no longer available. Spirit’s customer service counters at IAH are closed.
- Visit Spirit’s website for information related to re-bookings, refunds and customer communication.
- All other airlines at IAH continue to operate normally.
- Air carriers at Bush and Hobby airports serve destinations similar to Spirit’s network, giving travelers alternative options.
