Ellington Airport is pleased to welcome the Lone Star Flight Museum to its campus. The aviation museum relocated from its previous Galveston, Texas location to Ellington Airport in September 2017. The museum boasts one of the finest aviation collections in the nation. In addition to a collection of award-winning historic aircraft, the 130,000 square-foot museum features interactive, educational exhibits focusing on the science, technology, engineering, and math concepts essential to flight while allowing visitors to explore Texas’ rich aviation heritage.   Another highlight of the new facility is a $1 million Aviation Learning Center and the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame.

Hours:                   Open Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
                               Open Sunday 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
                               Closed on Monday during the school year, Thanksgiving
                               and Christmas Day.
