Just in time for Mother’s Day: Hip & Humble opens inside IAH Terminal D

Boutique brings women-owned charm to Houston’s international terminal.

May 9, 2025

Hip & Humble, a women-owned boutique known for its playful fashion and curated gifts, is now open inside Terminal D at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)—just in time for Mother’s Day and the start of the 2025 summer travel season.

The Utah-based shop joins a growing list of fresh, elevated retail options inside the international terminal, which opened in October 2024 following a major expansion and modernization. With soaring ceilings, natural light and globally inspired amenities, the Terminal D-West Concourse offers travelers a world-class gateway experience—and now, a new stop for unforgettable last-minute gifts.

“Hip & Humble is a perfect fit for Terminal D,” said Libby Hurley, director of concessions for Houston Airports. “It’s vibrant, fun and rooted in supporting women. We’re proud to bring in another women-owned small business that adds character and charm to our retail offerings.”

The boutique store is known for its thoughtfully chosen mix of women’s apparel, travel accessories, candles, home décor and keepsakes—all focusing on sustainability and community, whether hunting for a heartfelt Mother’s Day card, a luxurious bath soak, or a stylish handbag, Hip & Humble offers something unique and personal.

Its opening is part of the airport system’s broader effort to diversify the retail experience at IAH, especially in the international terminal.

“Our goal is to make sure every traveler—no matter where they’re headed—can discover something special,” Hurley said. “Hip & Humble elevates that experience while reinforcing our commitment to local partnerships and women entrepreneurs.”

Travelers can find the new store near gates D1-D6, which is just passed TSA Security in Terminal C. Hip and Humble is surrounded by other standout new amenities, including local dining concepts, a massive duty-free store, interactive digital kiosks and a sensory room.
